There’s nothing I love more then fresh flowers in the house! They really bring life into a home by bringing the textures and colors of the season inside. Often I’ll pick up blooms from Trader Joe’s…but my absolute favorite is to take a quick trip down to the wholesale floral mart. Walking in and seeing the buckets and buckets loaded with seasonal blooms and greenery just makes my heart sing!
A little fun fact about me…I worked at a florist for about 2 years in high school. It was the best job! I learned to care for flowers and do basic arrangements. My style may have changed since then (lets just say no more gerbera daisies for this gal)…but that feeling, and amazing scent, has stayed with me all these years. Walking into the flower mart immediately brings me back!
Now I walk into the flower mart and I immediately go to the greenery. For me, it’s the easiest way to make a statement and do it without spending a lot of money. I love big vases and buckets overflowing in an easy and casual way.
GET THE LOOK:
Greenery – My favorite greenery to use includes seeded Eucalyptus, silver dollar Eucalyptus, Hypericum (shown here), and any seasonal berry or greenery that can make a big impact. Always go with what catches your eye!
Containers – My go-to ‘vases’ are actually big glass jars. I have a few different sizes of these style jars and I just take the lid of and use the container! So easy! I also love this vase and this collection.
I hope this inspires you to bring a little greenery into your own home!
