This time of year can be sooo busy, and while Brad and I love a night on the town, sometimes it’s even nicer to just stay in! Brad’s favorite holiday drink is eggnog, so I thought it would be fun to make a special eggnog holiday cocktail and enjoy it together by the Christmas tree. This Eggnog White Russian is easy peasy and soooo delicious! If you’re looking for a last minute cocktail recipe to enjoy with your own hubby, family or friends, be sure to check it out below!
Simple, quality ingredients make this cocktail so easy to create. Strauss Family Eggnog, Kahlua and my new favorite Green Hope Vodka are the only ingredients you need. Green Hope vodka is clean, organic and produced using sustainable ingredients. This small batch vodka is also created in a town near and dear to my heart….Healdsburg, CA…where Brad and I got married!
And for those of you who don’t have proper bar tools (ahem, ME)….you can also use measuring spoons! The recipe below is written in ounces, but 1 ounce is 2 tablespoons. How convenient is that?
You don’t need a lot to make your date night in festive. I love these glasses from Williams Sonoma with their classic criss-cut pattern. Served on a gold tray from Target, they are easily accessorized with holiday cocktail napkins (also from Target), our favorite Pottery Barn house ornament, marshmallow stirrers found at Home Goods and sprigs of fresh greenery. A pretty blush poinsettia finish off our coffee table.
Such a fun, easy date night and the perfect way to celebrate the holidays with my love. It’s nice to stop, enjoy each other’s company and our beautiful tree! Only 3 more sleeps my friends until the BIG DAY!!
As always, thank you for reading! xo

Fill glass halfway with ice. Add vodka and coffee liqueur. Top off with Eggnog. Sprinkle with brown sugar if desired (I used sugar in the raw). ENJOY!!
