I’m thrilled to introduce you all to Emery Elizabeth Johnson. We welcomed her to our family on March 30th at 12:42pm, weighing 7 lbs 3 oz and 20 inches long. She is pure sweetness…a mellow little girl who is just taking it all in right now. I could cuddle her all day, and certainly plan on doing just that….I know in a blink of an eye this squishy cuddly newborn phase will be over! So we plan on enjoying every single moment with our sweet baby girl. Welcome home baby Emmy!
If you follow me on Instagram then you know our sweet baby girl has already arrived! But before I share her adorable photos I thought I’d better back up a step and share our maternity photoshoot with Vanessa Lentine. This is the first time I’ve done ‘bump’ photos…but being our 4th and last baby I knew I really wanted them this time around.
f you’re looking for a homemade granola recipe, then guys…this is THE ONE. It is clean, quick and most importantly delicious. A good friend of mine (hi Katie!!) made this for me last summer and packaged it up in this darling jar. Since then I’ve made about a gazillion batches of this stuff, but always keep it in the jar she gave me, it makes me smile! The kiddos and I love to eat it on yogurt, and a little handful in the afternoon can help hold off the sweet cravings!
Now that the holidays are over I’m in full on “get ready for baby” mode. Our youngest is now four, so we basically need everything new. Which is totally fun! And expensive, eek! And a little daunting! Because wow, things sure do change in just 4 years. But I’ve started doing my research and I’ve found a few things I’m pretty sure are must-haves…
Even though it’s already January 6th, we are juuuust easing into the New Year over here. With my kiddos out of school until next week, we’re in vacation mode a little longer then usual. And while I love a lazy morning, I’m itching to get back to a some schedule and routine. These lazy mornings however have given me the opportunity to reflect on 2016 and make goals and plans for 2017.
