Ahhhh Fall!!! Seriously it’s my favorite season ever. Well actually it’s the entire time between September and the New Year that is my favorite, and we’re just at the cusp of all that fun beginning! I love to start each month by looking ahead to seasonal activities, events, meals, home decor and style. What better way to do all of that then put it into a visual mood board. Here’s what is inspiring me for September!

1 — THIS DRESS! My neighbor recently introduced me to the brand Piper & Scoot (Holly, if you’re reading this, thank you!!) I’m loving their selection of dresses and shoes particularly. This Timberlake Maxi dress looks easy to wear and the moss color is perfect for fall. I’ve also got my eye on these flats.

2 — Studio McGee recently launched their new artisan collection and the images are just swoon worthy. They photographed their new collection in a home designed by The Fox Group and it is gorgeous! I mean that French range paired with the marble backsplash? Gah! The darker tones and copper pots are so perfect for Fall.

3 — Oh this sweet guy, are you wondering why he made the cut onto my September mood board? Well it’s because my kiddos are on a serious mission to get a puppy for our family. We’ve had cavalier king charles in our lives for the last 13 years. My husband and I got Milo when we were first engaged, and we added Flynn to our family just a couple years later. They both came to us pre-kids and were our first children. Sadly Milo passed away almost 2 years ago and Flynn more recently passed.

It’s been heart breaking for our family and we really miss have our pups in the house! Amelia said the other day that our house feels empty. Doesn’t seem possible with 6 people living here, but it’s true, a dog brings a special warmth to a household. So the kiddos are saving money in a jar for our ‘puppy fund’ and we’ve started the search. Owen has his heart set on a boy named Oliver. I’ve looked a rescue dogs and local breeders, but haven’t found our little guy quite yet.

4 — Pillows are one of the easiest ways to make a seasonal change in your home, and Danielle Oakey is killing it in the pillow department. Her shop has an amazing assortment of both vintage and designer fabric pillow covers. For Fall I love the both the Abbey and Sicily covers. And the Lund cover with the tassle details is adorable! Danielle also shows favorite pillow combos on her site, which makes shopping for coordinating pillows such a breeze.

5 — Does anything scream Fall more then apple picking? Harlowe James’ apple picking trip has me planning our own!!

6 — Football Sundays mean appetizers in our house. And while I love chips and dip, sometimes you gotta just step up your game a little (see what I did there, lol). This fall platter from Beijos Events is a feast and something I’d happily dig into any day of the week!
