Currently Smitten: a monthly roundup of things catching my eye, inspiring me and classics I’ve loved forever.
CURRENTLY SMITTEN | February ’24
February can bring a on a little bit of the doldrums – the weather is grey in Nashville, Christmas is a distant memory, and we’re all ready to move on to Spring! It’s the perfect time for a little luxe pick me up. I’ve recently discovered these classic cap toe ballet flats and they have become my absolutely favorite. Available in a plethora of colors, I already own the honey/black and have my eye on these denim/black ones too.
Fleur Dessert Plate – hand painted with a beautiful and delicate floral motif, this plate would be beautiful hung a wall or displayed on a shelf.
A. Soliani Como ballet flats – my absolute favorite ballet flats that I want to eventually own in every color. I have them in the classic honey and black, and this denim/black combo is the next on my wishlist. They are handcrafted in true Italian leather and they are GORGEOUS. I bought my true size and they fit perfectly but just note they do take a few wears to break in!
Parker Thatch XL Jane Bag – I’ve been doing a lot of travel and this roomy tote is calling my name. Love the subdued metallic and the fact that you can swap out the strap.
Boll and Branch Bedding – We’ve had Boll and Branch bedding in our primary bedroom for over 2 years now and it’s still my favorite! In my opinion there’s nothing better then climbing into fresh white sheets at the end of the day. We love their percale sets and went all out and bought the duvet cover, sheets, plus the inserts (duvet and pillows). Worth every penny.
Silver Tapered Bud Vase – and with scallop details? yes please! I love the idea of putting this by the kitchen sink, in the bathroom or on a nightstand with a few rose blooms.
Other items include – An Affair with a House (longtime favorite), classic gold hoop earrings, a luxe face cream and a beautiful glass hurricane.
