Happy Father’s day to all of the Daddy’s out there!! Like so many dads and husbands ours is really the rock of our family, so we’re excited to spend the day celebrating him!! We’re giving him a break from cleaning out the garage (we did that yesterday!!) and taking on all of the house projects. Instead we plan to drive up the coast, have lunch, wander the beach and just enjoy time together as a family. If you’re still looking for something to do on this special day, see below for some of the other ideas our kiddos considered!

If you’re still thinking of a way to celebrate with the Daddy in your life, here are some other ideas my kiddos suggested…

• A picnic at the park, or even in your own backyard! These sandwiches look delicious and this middle eastern salad would be so yummy packed up in to-go containers
• Bowling!! Bad shoes and fried food, what more can you ask for??
• A swim at the local pool…Dads are always the fun one’s at the pool, right?
• BBQ and the US Open! We’ll actually be doing this one as well!! We plan on coming home from our beach walk, relaxing, BBQ’ing and letting our favorite guy watch a little golf
