Holiday Gift Guides – Kids

Tis’ the season for gift guides! First off…I want to say thank you! I know you are inundated with gift guides this time of year, and I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to check out the ones I’ve created. Today I’m sharing guides for little girls and boys. If you’re anything like me, you want to cross off the kiddos gifts first!

For little girls I’ve included items that are either on Emery’s list, or things that we already own and love. I think a play kitchen or dollhouse are classic gifts that they will treasure for many years. Both have always been Emmy’s favorite toys! She actually loves to play with her Calico Critters or Maileg dolls in the dollhouse, I love that she’s always using her imagination. This year Emery is asking for a “big girl scooter” and I love this light up one. And these toiletry bags and purse are such great Amazon finds. A little tip…stuff them with tissue paper and add a few items (lipgloss, a little mirror or notepad), package in a box, and your inexpensive Amazon find is taken up a notch! Also anyone else have little girls obsessed with squishmallows? There are some super cute options on Amazon!

dollhouse / scooter / unicorn / bracelet / kitchen / purse / Maileg bunny / Calico Critters / Squishmallow / pajamas / small toiletry bag / HAIR toiletry bag / hair clips

I’m sad to say we don’t have any little boys in our house anymore (our son turns 14 this month!!!) but here are some tried and true items that we’ve loved over the years. We had a pop-a-shot in our old garage and it was a family favorite! And these strider balance bikes are the best in my opinion, so fun for little boys learning to ride a bike and they’re sturdy and durable. We had one for Owen and our girls ended up using it too. Magna tiles are also a family favorite and are definitely not just for boys! Emery still plays with them and we’ve had them forever, they are well loved toys that are worth the investment. I also always love to include a few things that are practical but still fun…like a new water bottle for school or some cozy socks!
